Chiropractic Care

Basic Adjustments

Chiropractic is the art and science of using the hands or mechanical instruments to adjust misaligned, or subluxated, joints in the body. Vertebrae are the primary joints adjusted, although rib and extremity joints can also be adjusted. The use of multiple adjusting techniques, as well as physiotherapies such as ultrasound and cold laser therapy ensures opportunities to provide relief and restore function to hundreds of patients. We accept most insurances, and are in-network with Medicare, Iowa Total Care, Amerigroup, most non-HMO Blue Cross and Blue Shield policies, and most United Healthcare policies, as well as many other insurers.

Acupuncture Treatments

Acupuncture has been around for centuries, serving as the primary form of healthcare for China and other eastern countries. Current acupuncture techniques being utilized include the commonly recognized meridian therapy and auriculotherapy. Needles are the most common acupuncture modality, but points can also be stimulated by mechanical, electrical, or laser options. Acupuncture is not covered by most insurances, but is reasonably priced for affordability.
